Boxing
Boxing may well be the world’s oldest sport. In 688 BC it was included in the ancient Olympic Games, while cave carvings dating way back to the 3rd Millennium BC show people fist-fighting in front of audiences. Throughout history, Boxing has been one of the most well-known sports across the world. More recently, it has become a very popular fitness trend to lose weight and get in shape. At its best, Boxing is both a graceful yet explosive art form and a simple, unadulterated depiction of what the human body is capable of achieving.

How it helps
The Boxing Signature Program is a great way to build strength as well as let out stress for two reasons. Firstly, during a Q Cage Fit workout, you typically transition between high-intensity bouts of exercise and moderate-intensity recovery periods. Secondly, Boxing as a sport requires a high level of athletic prowess – strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, endurance, nerve, and power. We enable you to hone all these athletic skills, without even having to take a punch.
What to expect
A typical Muay Thai class at Q Cage Fit starts with a warmup of running, skipping and shadow boxing. Our coaches will then take you through technique where you will partner up to practice as well as doing bag and pad work with our trainers in the ring. Focusing on utilizing correct technique and not on hurting your training partner, you will also have the chance to do sparring at your own pace. The main session is followed by some core work and warm down/stretching.

Privates
Private training is available and needs to be booked in advance by emailing our team at qcagefit@gmail.com. This is a great way to speed up your overall learning curve and work on any areas you feel you would like help with, from technique to sparring.
